Maintain Sub-Markets Edit Menu Option
Sub-Markets maintenance has only screen field as required entry: Country.
Sub-Markets Maintenance Procedure
- Enter the Country - This is a required entry. All alpha-numeric characters are allowed.
- Enter the State - This is an optional entry. All alpha-numeric characters are allowed.
- Enter the City - This is an optional entry. All alpha-numeric characters are allowed.
- Enter the Display - This is an optional entry. Value entered will be displayed in the popup window when selecting submarkets during advertising activity maintenance. All alpha-numeric characters are allowed.
- Enter any Notes - This is an optional entry. Any user notes can be entered here. All alpha-number characters are allowed.
- Enter the Rank - This is an optional entry. There is an option in the sub-market popup window to sort sub-markets by rank (size of submarket). Numeric entry only.
- Click on the Database Update to save any changes or the Accept button to save any changes and exit. Click on the Cancel button to close without saving changes.
How to add an Advertising Sub-Market
Click on the "Add New" icon in the bottom toolbar. Follow the Location Maintenance Procedure above.
How to change an Advertising Sub-Market
Select the row in the datagrid you want to change. Follow the Location Maintenance Procedure above.
How to delete an Advertising Sub-Market
Select the row in the datagrid you want to remove. Click on the "Delete" icon in the bottom toolbar. Click on the Ok button on the Confirmation.
How to import Sub-Markets from a Text File
Click on the "Import" icon in the bottom toolbar. Follow the screen dialog prompts to locate the text file and do the import. IMPORTANT: Take care when using this import function. Importing the same data multiple times will result in multiple entries with the same value.
NOTE: There is a text file in the program's application folder with the correct tab-delimited format: CountryStateCityData.txt
