Advertiser Helper Software is already installed

If the Advertiser Helper software is not presently downloaded and installed on your PC, please visit the previous First Steps - Download and Install Advertiser Helper (Clicking this Link and the next will open a separate Browser Window).

If you just completed the previous First Steps - Download and Install Advertiser Helper, then the software application will be running with the initial screen displayed below. If the software application is no longer running, then please double-click the Advertiser Helper application icon so that it starts up and displays the following initial screen.

Click the "Create New Database" Button in the middle of the screen:

Click the Browse Files icon button, to the right of the New Location textbox, on the Database Location screen popup window:

Using the Find Dialog browse to the directory for your new Advertising Database. It should already be in your "My Documents" folder by default. When located, enter FirstSteps as the filename - then click the Open button:

The Database Location screen will display again with the New Location textbox filled in with your selection, click the Accept button:

The following confirmation message will display indicating a new database is to be created, click the OK button:

The Missing Database Screen will display again with the message that the New Database has been Successfully Created! Click the Accept button to continue:

The Advertiser Helper Software main screen will display. A sampling of advertising activities has automatically been created:

A New Advertising Database has been Successfully Created!
